The Hydrus Microstent is a highly flexible, biocompatible 8-mm long device delivered ab interno into the trabecular meshwork and Schlemm's canal. What are the results with Hydrus? Afte receiving Hydrus, 77.2% of patients achieved a >20% decrease in IOP at two years. Additionally, 78% of patients were medication free at two years. Speaking on the procedure, Dr. Shelton noted that "the Hydrus offers a great safety profile with very good IOP lowering effect for our cataract patients with mild to moderate glaucoma.
